Antonio Abreu

Founding Partner · Technical Support Manager · Senior Petroleum Engineer

M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (University of Lisbon) with over 40 years of oilfield production-technology experience: cementing, stimulation, well integrity, coiled-tubing operations, well testing, slickline/wireline, reservoir monitoring, gas lift, production logging, perforation, sand control and water/gas shut-off. Roles have spanned Dowell Schlumberger (Singapore), Libya, Algeria, Kazakhstan, ADCO/Bu-Hasa and Dragon Oil (Dubai/Turkmenistan). An experienced lecturer and BTC instructor, most recently as a Training Consultant in the UAE.

Luis Remisio

Founding Partner · Technical Manager, Sub-surface

Mining Engineer (IST, Lisbon) and Petroleum Engineer (IFP, Paris) with a Leadership Certificate in Management (Ashridge, UK). 43 years of industry experience across seven countries (Angola, UK, Australia, Zaire, Portugal, UAE and Kazakhstan) in drilling, operations, production technology, conceptual design, surface installations, HSE and technical/finance management. Teaches Oil & Gas, HSE and Leadership courses.

M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Refining & Petrochemistry (FEUP, University of Porto, 1978) with post-graduate study in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Lubricants-refining experience at Petrogal followed by international work across Libya, Algeria, the USA, the Middle East, the North Sea and Central Africa with Halliburton, holding PDC, BDM and Technical Advisor roles for completions. Specialist in fracturing, chemical stimulation, cementing and completions.

Executive leader with 33+ years of progressive oil & gas experience, primarily with the ADNOC Group, in senior roles including Vice President of Integrity & Operational Excellence, VP of Development and VP of Operations, managing large-scale upstream operations, resource optimisation and safety/integrity programmes. Backgrounds in mechanical and petroleum engineering, an Executive MBA, a Master's in Petroleum Engineering and specialised AI training (MBZUAI). Recognised for operational innovation, sustainability and workforce development.

Ana de Sousa

Technical Manager, Earth Science · Marketing Manager

M.Sc. in Reservoir Evaluation & Management (Heriot-Watt) and B.Sc. in Geology Engineering (Coimbra), with post-graduate study in Economics, Strategy & Management (CIDEC-ISCTE, Lisbon). Senior reservoir geologist with 28+ years of experience as a geomodeler and rock-type specialist at Partex Oil & Gas, PTTEP, Total and Maersk, building static models for carbonate and clastic reservoirs from appraisal to development, including responsibility for the Dunga Field (Kazakhstan). An experienced instructor in Earth Science, geology, geophysics and petrophysics across Portugal, Nigeria and the UAE.

A proven leader across the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia with major operators and service companies (SUCO, ADCO, PETRONAS, Schlumberger, Halliburton and Baker Hughes), recognised for field-optimisation solutions, well-integrity improvements and smart-field implementations across brownfield and greenfield developments.
